Itinerary Details

Day 1
Arrival at Entebbe

On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. You shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your boutique hotel in Entebbe

Day 2
TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK, VIA ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

After breakfast we start our journey to Murchison falls, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here you shall have an on-foot walking Safari to  get close to Southern White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda recently. Today afternoon you will continue drive to the legendary Murchison Falls, from which the National Park derives its name.

Day 3
IN MURCHISON FALLS NP: GAME DRIVE AND LAUNCHCRUISE ON THE RIVER NILE

After an early breakfast, you will go for game viewing drive in the open savannah. Search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest. Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species such as Marshal Eagles & Carmine Bee-Eaters.

To day afternoon, go for a scheduled boat ride up the Nile, to Murchison falls, where the park derives its name.

Day 4
FLY OR DRIVE TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Today you will choose to fly (13hrs15-14hrs15) on scheduled flight to Kasese (min 4pax) and/or drive 6hrs to Fort Portal Kibale National Park. In the afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation. You may from choose alternative activities available at the Lodge. Like visiting one of the local communities and getting to learn about their different lifestyles, or visit one of the Tea farms, or simply relax at your luxury lodge.

Day 5
IN KIBALE FOREST N.P: CHIMPANZEE HABITUATION EXPERIENCE, BIGODI SWAMP WALK

Today you will experience Chimpanzee Habituation in Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive at the park Head-quarters at 6:30 am for briefing. Led by an experienced Ranger Guide, you will start off into the forest to find the Chimps as they awake from their Nests. Thereafter you will follow a Chimpanzee family for up to 4 hours, observing how they hunt, feed, Mate, play with the young, interact and rest.

In the afternoon after tracking, you could choose take a guided walk (optional) through the Bigodi swamp or experience local way of life in a village walk. Chances of spotting other monkeys like, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Red Colobus, and Red-tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons.

Day 6
DRIVE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will drive today to the world-famous Queen Elizabeth National Park – Uganda’s most popular and most scenic game reserves. It incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savanna and wetlands and lowland forest. Today we shall have an evening game drive in the park.

Day 7
IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NP: GAME DRIVE & BOAT RIDE ON THE KAZINGA CHANNEL

Today, we have an early morning game drive. There are over 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park..

In the afternoon, you shall have a scheduled boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Expect overwhelming species of birds, buffalos, elephants and lots of baboons by the channel.

Day 8
DRIVE TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK, VIA GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA,

Depart for Bwindi National Park in the morning, the home of the Mountain Gorillas, Bwindi National Park. Of Uganda’s Forested Parks, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is best known for gorilla tracking, but it also provides refuge to elephants, chimpanzees, monkeys and various small antelopes, as well as 23 bird species restricted to the Albertine.

Day 9
IN BWINDI IMPENTRABLE NATIONAL PARK - GORILLA TREKKING

This morning you will get up very early for gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 8 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the behavior of the Gorillas. Later in the day, you will visit woman projects in the area. Alternatively choose to village pigmies’ village (Optional), to learn their way of life.

Day 10
FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE AND DEPARTURE

After breakfast, you will drive to Kihihi Airstrip and fly back to Entebbe enjoying the beautiful aerial view of South – western Uganda, the hills and thick vegetation as well as the farming practiced by the locals. Upon reaching Entebbe, you will connect to your outbound international flight.

You could choose to have an optional day room or shopping before, but your international flight must be after 16.00hrs.
