Arrive at Kigali International airport from where you will be welcomed by your driver/guide.

Enjoy a short city orientation drive. Check in your hotel.

Our guide will pick you from your hotel in Kigali, continuing on scenic 5-hour journey through Rwanda’ rolling hills. Cross border the Gatuna or Kyanika border into Uganda and proceed to Bwindi

Impenetrable national park. Arrive at your luxury lodge late afternoon and check in. Spend the evening at leisure.

TIP: The park gate and choice of hotel will depend on location of gorilla permits at time of booking

Approximate driving time: 5-6 hrs. Allow 30 minutes – an hour border crossing.

After early breakfast, drive to park offices for orientation by expert rangers. Later bgin your once in life time trek into the dense forest.

After locating a habituated gorilla family, spend an unforgettable one hour observing them in their natural habitat – interact, bonding and playing. Return to the lodge for relaxation.

Enjoy optional cultural visit (Batwa experience or cultural walk)

TIP: Trekking through the thick jungle, can be tough, wet, strenuous but not impossible – hence must be averagely healthy.

After breakfast at the lodge, drive cross back into Rwanda with scenic views of volcanoes

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy brief visit of Kigali Genocide Museum or local craft market. Drop off at Kigali airport for your outbound flight.
