Diane plays a key role in the sales department of Chigo Tours Africa. With over 10 years of experience in the travel industry, she has been an integral part of Chigo Tours since its inception. A firm believer in providing impeccable service, she approaches her work with a keen eye for detail and a systematic mindset. Diane is committed to ensuring the seamless operation of all company activities.
Her favorite destination is Murchison Falls National Park, where she enjoys the high concentration of elephants—her favorite animal—along with the diverse wildlife and the breathtaking views of the River Nile at the top of the falls.

Martin has been involved in all phases of the company’s development since its launch in 2014. He is both a product development specialist and an active safari guide, with over 18 years of experience leading wildlife, birding, and photography tours. His enthusiasm for travel and photography, along with his friendly character, have contributed to the success of Chigo Tours Africa, which specializes in unique, personalized safari tours to less-crowded locations.
In his role, Martin assists with quality control and designs special interest itineraries. He leverages his extensive experience and personal contacts in Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania to ensure that all clients create lasting memories during their travels.

Ambrose is our dedicated legal advisor, combining expertise in Information Technology and law. He is a practicing attorney at the high court and truly embodies the spirit of a Ugandan wanderer, with a passion for traveling around Uganda and Tanzania. His love for nature, spending time with friends, and connecting with people and wildlife is evident in all that he does. Ambrose provides valuable legal support.
In addition to his professional pursuits, he was a former football goalkeeper during his high school years. Ambrose also enjoys sports, swimming, and reading travel articles.

Tour/Safari Guide
John’s good sense of humour and love for wildlife and nature has consistently earned him a good reputation from past travelers. He always hopes to spot giraffes on safari because he loves how they move across the savannah.
He enjoys football and is a good fun of the Ugandan Cranes – the Ugandan national team. During his free time, he’s busy conducting vehicle diagnostics and service for many cars and playing football.

Andrew has been guiding since his first trip to Queen Elizabeth National park in 2009. His favorite destination is Kalinzu Forest by Queen Elizabeth national park for its less crowds & shy primates.
He especially favors the outdoor walks in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to enjoy stunning rainforest views and the chance to learn about native culture of the pigmy people.
He was inspired by his father who is also a driver guide, having travelled all over Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania & Dr Congo.

Meet Derrick, also known to his guides as ‘small Derrick’, has been guiding tours since his first trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park in 2012.
Since then he has guided travellers to every corner of Uganda, with his favourite destination being Murchison Falls National Park due to the high diversity and number of wildlife and the rushing waters of the river Nile.

We are actively pursuing Travelife Partner certification while adhering to essential standards for environmental management and community impact. Our annual sustainability report monitors our energy use, waste generation, water consumption, and social impact, ensuring transparency.
Reducing waste & plastics
We aim to reduce single-use plastics by 90% within two years, with 80% of guests already using refillable bottles. We assess supplier packaging, promote refillable amenities, and implement waste segregation systems at our offices and supplier lodges.
Lowering carbon footprint
Our itineraries minimize emissions through having short transfers, more trekking’s and walking safaris. We also explore carbon offset partnerships and tree planting initiatives in Uganda.

Photography & Luxury Safari Vehicles
We operate a fleet of expertly designed safari vehicles, tailored for an exceptional wildlife experience. Each vehicle features an open-roof pop-up hatch and spacious windows for optimal viewing. Our photography safari vehicles accommodate three passengers, providing individual rows of seats for maximum comfort and ample space for bean bags and charging ports. With large open sides for stabilizing cameras, you'll have the freedom to capture stunning shots from any angle.
The vehicles also offer plenty of room for camera equipment and excellent suspension to reduce camera shake. For added convenience, each vehicle is equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, charging points, and a refrigerator. Elevate your safari photography adventure with us!

This vehicle has 7 seats +1(driver/guide) seater in the vehicle. For convenience and enjoying spacious legroom, we recommend maximum 6 travellers for this car. This is our main transportation on our tours.
