In this park, we do a safari to find lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and more antelopes. Our lodge at Murchison falls has a swimming pool.

Accommodation: at your lodge in Murchison falls NP.

Day 7: Murchison falls National Park

Today you will rise up early for a morning game drive with a ranger. Enjoy a 3hour game safari, keep an eye out for the elephants, leopards, lions, warthogs, and giraffes as well as large herds of antelopes such as oribi, Hartebeest, Kobs, and buffalo, but please note – some wild animals like leopards, lions can be elusive! –   nothing is guaranteed though our guides will maximize chances of these cat sightings!

At 2 pm you will depart for a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Along the way, you’ll be passing large numbers of giant Nile crocodiles, schools of hippos, and a vast range of birdlife. Enjoy this breathtaking scenery.

Today after the boat you will get out of the boat and walk to view Murchison falls from the top. The point where River Nile is squeezed through such a tiny space  plunging 42m deep makes one of the most powerful waterfalls in the world. What a stunning sight, foaming, crashing white water rushing through narrow channels of stone and plunging down into a curving stretch of river below, silvery in the mid-day light. The payoff is a killer view back toward the falls, and down the Nile in another direction as your eye can see.  Your guide will pick you up at this point and transfer you back to the lodge.

Accommodation: at your lodge in Murchison falls NP.
