Day 0: Arrival Kili- Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet your Driver Guide and transfer to Moshi; you will stop along the way to see the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro if there will be a clear weather, then proceeds to Moshi arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight at your Hotel Chanya Lodge. Today you have an option of visiting Kikuletwa Hot springs “Maji Moto” at Boma while on the way to Moshi.
Day 1: Moshi to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at 07:00am, drive to Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) arriving at 08:30 and spend 1h00, later on at 09:30am drive to Lake Manyara National Park arriving in time for afternoon game drive in the park and later on proceed to Karatu at your lodge. You will stop Arusha on the way for briefing and lunch at Cultural Heritage.
Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park), located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake.
Welcome to Karatu Simba Lodge where you’ll experience the peace and quiet of the Tanzanian countryside. Karatu Simba Lodge is located about a thirty-minute drive from the gate of Lake Manyara National Park, approximately four kilometers off the main road to the entry of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Situated deep in the farming area of the Karatu district and nestled right alongside the Ngorongoro Forest—home to elephant, buffalo, hyena, and other wildlife — Karatu Simba Lodge offers fine hospitality for safari travelers.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti
After early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), arriving in time for crater tour with picnic lunch down into the crater, and later on proceed to Serengeti National Park with game drive en-route arriving at your tented camp in time for dinner and overnight.
You will descend 600m into this stunning crater to view wildlife and witness an unforgettable spectacle of African wildlife – a world teeming with animals. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, giant elephants and a small population of black rhino. Another big draw to this picturesque area is it dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
Thereafter you will be heading towards the Serengeti National Park, leaving the highlands behind and proceeds into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Arriving central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
Osero, (the Maasai word for “Bush”) Serengeti Tented Camp is located in the heart of the African Wilderness. The camp is an open lodge so the animals freely pass by the camp or can even walk through it on occasions, which contributes to a truly unique atmosphere. Our tents are luxurious and are fitted with all the necessary amenities. You are surrounded by the lush green landscape and embraced by the rich Maasai culture which makes your stay unforgettable.
Day 3: In Serengeti National Park
On this day you will do early morning Hot Air Balloon flight, followed by a delightful champagne breakfast. After breakfast you will be heading to the south-eastern side of the park for a game drive with picnic lunch, visiting the Barafu Kopjes and the Ngare Nanyuki River area, for your morning and afternoon game drives. Apart from the lion prides you find in the area, the Barafu Kopjes is the place to visit for possible cheetah sightings. The Ngare Nanyuki River area is also well known for being packed with game. Later on, drive back to your tented camp arriving in time for dinner and overnight.
You will do game viewing along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s Centre not far from the Seronera airstrip and public campsites is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed Centre, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area. The Centre also has a shop where cold drinks and snacks can be purchased, as well as a picnic area and information trail up and around a nearby kopje. hot air balloon safari and private standard game viewing;
Day 4: In Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, full day game drive in the park with picnic lunch following and sighting the great migration and later on drive back to your tented camp arriving in time for dinner and overnight. Includes: Accommodation on a full board basis (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and private standard game viewing.
Day 5: In Serengeti National Park, Seronera airstrip, Flight to Dar
After breakfast, game drive while heading Seronera Airstrip to catch your local flight to Zanzibar.
Zanzibar Extension:
You will be met by your guide from our representative who will transfer you to Zanzibar Stone Town at Tembo Hotel arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Tembo Hotel is located in Zanzibar stone Town, it is one of the best 4* Hotel in Stone Town. This Seafront Hotel is decorated with wood carved furniture, and offering a Swahili four-poster bed, each room features a seating area with TV, air conditioning and a bathroom with shower and traditional hammam bath. Most of the rooms feature a balcony with sea or pool views. The hotel’s Bahari Restaurant offers local as well international cuisine.

Day 6: In Zanzinbar – Stone town by bike tour
After breakfast at your Stone Town hotel, with your bike you will start a tour through the mysterious street of this UNESCO World Heritage town. After 10 minutes biking you may opt to catch a local bus, with the bikes on the roof, to avoid the crazy traffic out of town. You will off load your bike in the middle of the lush farm area and enjoy the beautiful landscape on your way a few km to the farm. You will get to the farm and start your tour where you expect to test and see vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, lemon grass, cloves, ylang ylang, cumin, garlic, ginger, coriander, pepper, tamarind, chili, oregano and many others. Learn about the origins of each spice, and their use as medicines or in food and drink. Be sure to smell and taste everything on offer! Before biking back, you will enjoy lunch on the farm cooked by the women in the family with raw material from their own farms. After the tour you will ride back to Stone Town at your Tembo Hotel arriving in time for leisure, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: In Zanzibar
After breakfast, you will start your tour right from the Hotel before you ride to other historical sites to explore Stone Town. A World Heritage Site boasts a labyrinth of winding alleys, bustling marketplaces, beautifully carved wooden doors, breathtaking mosques and grand Arab residences. With streets too small and tightly packed for cars to cruise along, Stone Town is perfect for pedestrians. Stone Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is Zanzibar’s biggest city which got its name from the fact that many of the gorgeous 19th-century buildings are built from coral stone. It may look ramshackle at first but this intriguing town is a living time capsule. The architecture here has been shaped by generations of explorers and spice traders and provides many interesting photography opportunities. You will pay a visit to some of the most interesting and attractive sites of Zanzibar Stone Town including the former slave market, National Museum, Old Fort and City Market. After the tour you will ride back to the hotel for leisure, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: In Zanzibar
This morning after your breakfast, your guide will transfer you to the Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam, departing. On arrival into Dar es Salaam Airport, you will be met by our colleague and transferred to the international terminal 3 for your onward international flights.
