WE'RE CHIGO TOURS AFRICA
We are risk takers
and adventure lovers
Chigo Tours Africa is a tour company in Uganda, offering high end safaris and mid-range adventure tours combined with authentic local experiences to Africa's most attractive eco friendly destinations in Uganda and Rwanda.
Uganda is blessed with impressive landscapes and untouched forests while Rwanda offers the “a thousand hills” experience. Our tour guides are natives in parks & places that clients visit; so they know the local cultures and animal behaviors so intimately.
Our itineraries are designed to give both adventure and learning experiences. Enjoy thrills of primate viewing ( chimps and gorilla trekking tours as key highlights) combined with authentic African cultural experiences like beer brewing, local coffee processing, basket making, tea plantation tour, visiting traditional healer while at the same time enjoying nature & birding safaris that provide great photographic moments.
Our clients’ safety and comfort are important to us: we use comfortable 4x4 well maintained vehicles for road trips, and or combined with chartered or scheduled flights. Nights are spent in carefully selected lodges that ensure maximum relaxation and scrumptious meals!
At Chigo tours, we believe in giving back to the community and or creating a difference in local people's lives - people who stay close to these tour sites – so we incorporate volunteer or community development programs (on request) for a client willing to teach a skill to or share knowledge with the local people. Projects include but are not limited to computer literacy trainings, supporting orphanages, clean water projects etc. Such programs give a richer if not more satisfying experience while making a difference in people's lives.
